The heat on Susan Rice, Hussein Obama and the corrupt Democrats was becoming too much for them to stand. Since they couldn’t get out of the kitchen themselves, the Dems opted for the next best option, get Chef Devin Nunes out. Put him beyond the reach of the pot so he can’t stir it, and continue to expose them, for now. The tool the corrupt Dems decided upon was House ethics charges.
In taking his victory lap, the despicable Rep Adam “Shifty” Schiff, as partisan of a political hack as the Democrats have anywhere in their mongrel field, said he “wanted to express his appreciation for what the chairman decided to do, I’m sure it was a very difficult decision for him.” Schiff might not want to overplay what’s going on as something it isn’t. The Democrats were successful in forcing Chairman Nunes to step aside temporarily but they weren’t able to keep the truth from getting out. Susan Rice has been exposed and she will have to testify before both Intelligence Committees. It’s game over, they just don’t know it yet.
Nunes stepped aside from the fake investigation into Russia – Trump hacking, which there still is no evidence indicating ever occurred and is nothing more than a distraction and a pretext for the Democrats to attack the administration. While he was valuable in fending off attacks in that capacity, Gowdy and the other committee members will be able to fill in while he’s sidelined. Defending from false and baseless Democrat allegations is not something that those in the GOP are unfamiliar with, it of comes with the pin and the parking space.
Nunes is making a symbolic gesture, recognizing that the Democrats and their agitators have successfully done the only thing they can do and what they always do, once again, in attacking the messenger. Their corruption is being exposed and the whole Rice – Obama deep state spy scandal is about to explode in their faces. It’s laughable that Chairman Nunes is being forced to scrutiny by the unscrupulous Democrats, but that is the situation as it stands, hypocrisy often rules the day in DC.
The loathsome lollipop head Schiff, who looks a bit shell-shocked even in the face of his hollow victory, is fully aware of what Rice did; he’s seen the evidence and knows what lies ahead. He’s putting a “good soldier” spin on it, saying that the stepping aside by Nunes will allow them “to have a fresh start moving forward.”
He’s being overly optimistic; they’re exposed, Rice and Obama were spying on their political opponents and using the intelligence agencies of the United States to do it. They’re not going to be starting fresh or moving beyond this. Attempts to villify Rep Nunes to cover their own wrong doing are not going to work. No amount of foul, disgusting, lying rants from the septic hole in the front of Maxine Waters’ grotesque face is going to be enough to move them beyond this. But she’s certainly going to be out there on CNN and MSNBC leaving a spittle trail towards that end.
In making his announcement, Chairman Nunes said, “Several left-wing activist groups have filed accusations against me with the Office of Congressional Ethics. The charges are entirely false and politically motivated, and are being leveled just as the American people are beginning to learn the truth about the improper unmasking of the identities of U.S. citizens and other abuses of power.
“Despite the baselessness of the charges, I believe it is in the best interests of the House Intelligence Committee and the Congress for me to have Representative Mike Conaway, with assistance from Representatives Trey Gowdy and Tom Rooney, temporarily take charge of the Committee’s Russia investigation while the House Ethics Committee looks into this matter. I will continue to fulfill all my other responsibilities as Committee Chairman, and I am requesting to speak to the Ethics Committee at the earliest possible opportunity in order to expedite the dismissal of these false claims.”
They successfully pressured Attorney General Sessions to step aside from the phony Russia stuff, with no visible impact on the “investigation into nothing.” The same will likely be true of Rep Nunes. He’s still engaged in the important activities of the committee, like the Obama regime spying on American citizens. Let Shifty have his meaningless momentary victory. It’s one of the very few any Democrats are going to enjoy for a long time.
