Addressing a mostly Muslim audience in Sterling at an iftaar dinner, Kerry denied any connections between Islamic terrorism and the flow of Muslims into America as immigrants and refugees. Using the UN-manufactured “World Refugee Day” date to push for more Muslim immigrants to the US, he joined celebrity leftist Angelina Jolie and left-wing “interfaith” religious figures associated with “social justice” movements.

“There is absolutely no evidence, my friends, zero evidence, that refugees who make it through this arduous process, pose any greater threat to our society than the members of any other group,” said Kerry. “And it is important for people to know that.”
“Preventing any group from entering the United States solely because of their race, or because of their nationality, or because of a religious affiliation is directly contrary to the very ideals on which our country is based,” said John Kerry, rejecting the ideological elements of Islam that distinguish it from the American religious experience.
Although impossible, Kerry promised that Muslim refugees could be adequately screened to keep out Islamic terrorists or their supporters.
“Our refugee screening process is so comprehensive and rigorous. It is also effective,” said Kerry, implying that failed states such as Syria has trustworthy databases from which to draw relevant information about refugee applicants.
