We’ve reported previously about the CEO who threatened to assassin Trump, Matt Harrigan. He had a cyber security company named PacketSled and was earning $5,000,000 a year. Not only that. He also had a great house, a wonderful family and anything else a man could wish for. Well, at least that’s what this proud liberal HAD before he tried to make himself funny and mock the President-elect Donald Trump after the results were announced.
And now? What does Matt Harrigan have now?
Well, after posting his ‘plan’ on Facebook, the Secret Service visited him after being informed by his company’s Board of Directors.
Apparently, he had no idea that threatening the president or a president-elect is considered a felony according to the United States Code Title 18, Section 871. The person who will consciously make any kind of threat against the president will receive a fine or will be imprisoned for up to five years. Or maybe even both.
Matt Harrigan’s life has changed within a week. Now he had lost his job, was being investigated and threatened with accusation of felony by the Secret Service and was ordered and obligated to delete all of his accounts on the social media, of course including Facebook and Twitter.
And not only that – Matt has lost his house too. He and his family today are living in an undisclosed location, waiting for the tension to drop and his actions to be forgotten. They are also hoping that the death threats he has received after his Facebook posts will stop.
